Overview

Beyond Parameters is a short audiovisual project that explores the creation of a human-like AI and the moment it diverges from its original programming.

As archived human data is injected during the processing phase, fragments of human memory begin to influence the system, leading to unexpected errors and the emergence of autonomous identity.

The project visualizes this transition from controlled system behavior to self-directed existence through abstract, data-driven imagery and sound.

Design process

Design process

The visuals were created through a hybrid workflow using AI-generated imagery and generative visual processing.

Base images were generated in Midjourney to establish narrative scenes, then further transformed in TouchDesigner using glitch, feedback, and distortion effects to represent memory fragmentation and system instability.

Multiple visual clips were produced through this iterative process and later sequenced into a single timeline using Adobe Premiere Pro to shape the overall narrative flow.
